Contemporary
Christian Music is the best description I can
think of for my "Through the Dark" CD,
but it's probably not the same as what typically comes to
mind when you hear the words " contemporary Christian
music. "
It's a little like John Michael
Talbot meeting James Taylor, or perhaps Michael Card meeting
Jim Croce. There are hints of folk music, acoustic alternative
pop rock music, and classical music. I guess it's just Karl
music, but since no one knows what that sounds like, I'll
stick to calling it contemporary Christian music.
Of course there's more to this
site and to my music than this one CD. I studied composition
and choral conducting in college, and I've written several
pieces for choir which you can
freely print, as well as some new hymns. I have some orchestral
and chamber works, too, but I haven't posted those yet.
