My Kind Of Girl
You were shinin' like a
sunbeam
When you caught my eye.
My heart trippin' and a tumblin'
Every time you'd smile.
I could tell you were the answer to my prayer.
I'm so glad you met me there.
You were my kind of girl,
The only one in the world.
Every word of it was true when I said, "I do."
My kind of girl.
Time rolls by just like
a river,
Winding to the sea.
Love flows always and forever;
May it ever be.
After all these years I hope you understand.
I'm still glad you took my hand.
You are my kind of girl,
The only one in the world.
Wrapped around me like a ring, I wouldn't change a thing,
My kind of girl.
Fine wine ages for the
better
With each year that's past.
Let's grow old and grey together,
We can make it last.
I will cherish you until death do us part.
Take my word just like my heart.
You are my kind of girl,
The only one in the world.
You're the apple of my eye 'til the day I die,
My kind of girl.
You are my kind of girl,
The only one in the world.
Every word of it was true when I said, "I do."
My kind of girl.

STORY BEHIND THIS SON...
After ten years of marriage, I finally
got up the nerve to write a song for my wife.
In an age when divorce is so commonplace,
I praise God for the grace He has given to sustain us through
the ups and downs of life. Since both of us were committed
to Christ long before we were committed to one another,
we entered this covenant with a complete understanding of
the permanent nature of that vow we made before God and
so many witnesses.
Saint Paul said, "Love never fades..."
Thank God that He allows us to share in His kind of love.
