He Died For Me
Wandering, bewildered by
this wilderness of sin
Lost and lonely, there was only One who'd take me in
Days of sorrow, years of shame was all I had to give
Yet He died for me, O can
it be
His blood has paid the price
Laid on the line His life for mine
Love's greatest sacrifice
I could spend eternity
just trying to repay
And still I'd be indebted for the sacrifice He made
Heaps of silver, mounds of gold could never buy my peace
So He died for me, O can
it be
His blood has paid the price
Laid on the line His life for mine
Love's greatest sacrifice
Now I want to live for
Him who died for me that day
Pure devotion, life's ambition following His way
I would never dream of leaving Christ, my dearest Friend
Because He died for me,
O now I see
His blood has paid the price
Laid on the line His life for mine
Love's greatest sacrifice

STORY BEHIND THIS SONG...
(Read 2Corinthians 5: 14-15)
"For the love of Christ controls us... and He died
for all , that they who live should no longer live for themselves,
but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf."
How can there be any other response? Jesus
died for me. The very least I can do is live for Him.
No wonder they call the Gospel good news!
